Orly Cosmic FX - Lunar Eclipse

Lunar Eclipse is my favorite polish from the Orly Cosmic FX Collection it is such a perfect indigo blue with purple shimmer. Last week when I was wearing this color Picture Polish were having a sale on the Ozotic nail polishes and I had been looking at lots of swatches of color shifting glitters so I decided to put a coat of Pretty & Polished Forgery over top of Lunar Eclipse I think it looks awesome.

Sweet Peacock - Orly Birds Of A Feather

Sorry I have uploaded this post so late but I got very distracted this morning with nail art penguins the latest craze on PAA, what I discovered from this was that I am not good at free hand nail art and that I really need all the right tools, pens and paint before I give it another try. Orly Sweet Peacock is a gorgeous blue foil one of the best blue nail polishes released this year it will be great for stamping that is what I was planning on doing with this color when I painted my nails last night, It was definitely not in my plans to be adding penguin's to my mani!

Poor little guys isn't their fault I'm not good at nail art!

Rock Solid - Orly Mineral FX Collection

As you probably know by now I am addicted to all things holographic so I when I saw the colour wheel swatch of Orly Rock Solid at a Sally Beauty Supply in Las Vegas I could not resist, this was the only colour from the new Orly Mineral FX collection that really stood out to me.

Rock Solid is a dark grey/charcoal base with rainbow holographic glitter that looks gorgeous in the sun, this nail polish is gritty and leaves an uneven finish it was very difficult to photograph so that you could see all the pieces of holographic glitter.

My USA Nail Polish Haul!

It's been a week now since I got back from the USA, I have desperately been wanting to swatch all the new colours I brought but have been super busy the last week and had to get to my nails done before I could start swatching, I brought some awesome colours while I was away lots of Holographics & Glitters and some really great finds only available in the USA.

Pictured above are some of the nail polishes I brought on my trip I will be trying to swatch them all over the next few weeks, I was in nail polish heaven while I was away some of the brands I purchased were Sephora by OPI, Nicole by OPI, Nails Inc London, Piggy Polish, Zoya, Island Girl, Sinful Colours, Sally Hansen, ibd, OPI  Designer Series as well as the usual OPI, Essie, Orly & China Glaze.
