Pink Wednesday - China Glaze Bad Kitty

It's wednesday again and I have chosen an oldie but a goodie China Glaze Bad Kitty from the China Glaze Speciality Collection. Bad Kitty is a cute pink jelly base full of opalescent glitter.

Sephora By OPI Spark-tacular! Top Coat

I am absolutely in love with this nail polish it is definitely on my list of all time favourites, I had to go to four different Sephora stores in Hawaii and Las Vegas before I found this bottle hidden at the Sephora inside JC Penney at Meadows Mall Las Vegas.

Yes the Spark-tacular Top is another Deborah Lippman Happy Birthday or OPI Rainbow Connection dupe but in my opinion it is way better the glitter is lighter in color and smaller than the glitter in Rainbow Connection and if think that gives the Spark-tacular! Top Coat a much prettier end result.

Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat

I got this Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat at Sally Beauty Fort Lauderdale near the end of my trip to the US. The top coat has a cute pink sparkle effect I have swatched it on its own and also over Grape Big Kiss from the Color Club Wicked Sweet Scented Collection (I removed this color yesterday but my nails still smell like grape bubblegum it is not good I would not use it again!)

Leopard Print Cardi Inspired Nails!

I brought a really cute light grey and pink leopard print Cardi when I was in the states at the beginning of November, I thought the colour combination would look great for nail art. To create this mani I used Color Club Worth The Risque, China Glaze Pool Party and the Konad m57 plate I have be meaning to do this for awhile I really love this look!

Color Club Worth The Risque (Holographic)

I used Color Club Worth The Risque as the base colour for my next konad mani, I took a few pics when the sun was out before I started stamping and I thought I'd share them before I post my konad mani pics.

Kendall On The Katwalk - Nicole by OPI Kardashian Color Collection

Kendall On the Katwalk is very similar to Nails Inc Connaught Square I would have to swatch them side by side to see if they are exact dupes (I may do this tomorrow), the formula of this polish was ok a lot better than Follow Me On Glitter, this is probably my favourite colour from the Kardashian Color collection but I doubt i'll keep it as I have so many similar colours in my collection already.

UPDATE

I swatched Nails Inc Connaught Square next to Kendall On The Katwalk they are not exact dupes the base of Connaught Square is darker and it has a lot more purple glitter, Kendall On The Katwalk definitely has a better formula and feels less gritty on your nails. Which color do you like best?

Essie Blanc Zebra Mani (Konad m57)

Oh my god this was the hardest stamping mani I have done so far never stamp with white as a base although it looks awesome it shows up all the imperfections and I had to repaint and redo the stamping over and over again to get a result I was happy with, the photos look great though love the mix of colors!

Totally unrelated, nothing to do with nail polish at all but I had to share this with you!

How cool is this toy I just saw Fijit Friends on youtube this morning they are so cool they sell for $50 in the US and up to $150 on eBay Australia I am 27 years old but I think I really need this toy! (Yes I know i'm really sad)

I have two jack russell's and they would so totally dance with the fijit friend too!

Follow Me On Glitter - Nicole By Opi Kardashian Kolor Collection

When I brought Follow Me On Glitter I didn't know it was the dupe of China Glaze Some Like It Haute, in hindsight I should have waited and got Some Like It Haute as it has pieces holographic glitter throughout the polish while Follow Me On Glitter only has plain rainbow glitter, this formula is really thick and as I've said before I hate the brush in the Nicole By OPI bottles as it is too short and way to thick I really hope they change this in the future.

China Glaze OMG Collection Skittle Swatches

I know the China Glaze OMG Collection was released in 2009 but I was not collecting nail polishes or blogging back then so it is really exciting for me to be able to get 10 of the OMG Collection colours as they are normally very hard to find, I am going to do swatches of all the colours but I thought I'd just share some cute skittle swatches of the colours today! (I am missing BFF & IDK if anyone has these colours in Very Good or Unused Condition I have some dupes from the OMG Collection that I could swap for them).

OPI DS Extravagance Leopard Print Mani (Konad m57)

I stamped OPI Designer De Better over OPI DS Extravagance in this cute leopard print mani, Designer De Better looks very sheer when stamped but makes for quite a nice understated look if you are not allowed to wear crazy bright nails to work. OPI DS Extravagance is a gorgeous purple holographic and I will have to swatch it separately another day so you can admire it's beauty in full!

DS Coronation - OPI Designer Series (Holographic)

I love silver holographic nail polish so DS Coronation is a perfect match for me, it is very sheer even with three coats the colour looks quite dull in indoor light but sparkles magnificently when out in the sun!

DS Classic - OPI Designer Series (Holographic)

I was a bit disappointed by OPI DS Classic and contemplated not even posting these swatches, the colour looks gorgeous in the bottle and has a fantastic rainbow holographic effect but it looks terrible on my nails on my nails as it is way too close to my skin colour.

I'm not a big fan or tan/brown nail polishes in general and unfortunately even this holographic effect wont even make this colour work for me, it would maybe ok for making frankenpolish or layering, I layered it over Nicole by OPI Disco Dolls last month and it didn't look too bad maybe it needs the gold bling to tone down the tan colour.
